: This report shows the strategy for risk reduction specified in ISO 12100 as an important matter when risk assessment will be performed in our country in the future.
It also shows the examples of lists of hazards, and risk assessment for actual machinery.
For the list of hazards, we have translated and shown the list described in annex A of ISO 12100.
It is considered that in the future it will take the place of the conventional "Accident Type" and become to be used widely.
Not only the methods described in ISO 13849, but also the methods used widely in the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany and so on are, listed as examples of risk assessment. (Figure 5, Table 9, Reference 10)
