Presentation Information for General Session

  

Speaker instruction:

(1) Each speaker has 15 minutes for presentation (including Q&A). It is desirable to finish your presentation within 12 minutes, and left 3 minutes for discussion. The time keeper will ring the bells at 10, 12 and 15 minutes. Speakers must keep to their time. The session chair will stop the presentation if it is longer than 15 minutes.
(2) All sessions will be provided with computers (Windows 7 with Office2010) , and VGA projectors.
(3) Speakers should arrive 10 minutes before the start of the session, and confirm their names and institution information to the session chair.
(4) Helpers will assist speakers in transferring the presentation files to the computer through USB drive or CD-R.
(5) The session chair will ring a bell to remind the speaker when there is only 2 minutes remaining.

   

Session chair instruction:

(1) Session chairs should arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the session to collect names and institution information from all the speakers.
(2) In general, speakers will have 15 minutes to present their paper (including Q&A) in a presentation.
(3) A bell is available in each session. The time keeper will ring the bells at 10, 12 and 15 minutes. It is desirable that the speaker finishes his/her presentation within 12 minutes.
(4) The session chair has the right to stop a presentation if it lasts longer than 15 minutes.
